RMS has solid experience in collecting outstanding debts from defaulting companies, firms and individuals. In recognition of our expertise and ability to deliver, we have been appointed to collect for a number of Malaysian financial institutions and corporations (including government-linked) and government bodies and institutions. We have a powerful resource in our ability to access various credit and commercial databases and industry networks which are essential tools for skip tracing.
We have a strong and experienced team of collection managers and collectors who are able to help clients to recover debts without resorting to legal action, which is always expensive and time consuming, especially since Malaysian lawyers are not allowed by law to operate on a contingency basis.
Our collectors are well trained in collection methods and well versed with the Malaysian laws relating to the collection of debts, allowing them in many cases to collect outstanding debts without going afoul of the law or damaging the goodwill and business relationship between client and debtor.
Whenever a debtor has gone out of business or has absconded, we are able to trace the debtor's whereabouts and make a fiscal assessment of the collectibility of the debt should clients choose to resort to legal action and therefore eliminating unnecessary expenses should there be no chance of recovering the outstanding debts or any part thereof.
